I am working for the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. We are planning a big temporary exhibition on the liberation of Europe in 1945. I am researching the Danish chapter. I read Danish fluently but do not write in it, so please feel free to answer in Danish.
To illustrate the return of the Danish Jews and resistance fighters and survivors of German camps from Sweden to Denmark we are urgently looking for an object from one of the many vessels used in regular or irregular ferry duty on Öreseund in Mai and June 1945.
I would appreciate any help you could provide me with. We would love to have a life belt, a name plate or any other object connected to ferries in duty in the time on the sound.
