Odense Pictures from 1973

Hi Tommy and other friends

I got some more pictures from Jims father taken in summer 1973. (By the way: they had 15 cm of fresh snow in these days at Toronto - brrr !)

The snowplows were taken at Odense, for the others I think it is the same.

At least the third picture is Odense all right, but not at the station. The cargo cars are standing on the harbour tracks maybe half a mile north of the station. Actually you can see the same tall building in the background as in the last picture (Machine factory Trige-Titans administration building I think it is), just from more or less the opposite side.

Correct, and the building with the tower and the small flag is this:

Just wondered / wandered around in Streetview:

Buildings - still the same, the rails too. But without "godsvogne".

The rail connection from harbor to station has been cut years ago.
The connection went under this bridge, but all tracks has been removed so the harbor rails are no more in use.
