"Midland Railway of Western Australia 3'6" gauge Class "JV" 1st Class Sleeper No. JV33 built in 1927 at the WAGR Works at Midland Jct for the MRWA. The Western Australian Government Railways Class "AZ" of 1928 were almost identical to them. When the MRWA became part of the WAGR in 1964 the "JV's" were reduced to 2nd Class and they were reclassified "AZS", JV33 becoming AZS446. It was withdrawn in 1975."
